Painter Fantasy Miniature Comedic Regal Artist NPC
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. Meet the Painter Fantasy Miniature by Vae Victus from We Print Miniatures, a character with as much flair as his brush strokes! Dressed in regal finery reminiscent of Henry VIII, this figure fancies himself a master of the arts. However, his attempts at impressionism have taken a comedic turn - after a mishap involving a collision with his own canvas, he’s found himself creating abstract, modern masterpieces instead.
With his flamboyant attire and exaggerated pose, this miniature perfect for games of Dungeons and Dragons, brings a playful, chaotic energy to any collection. The sculpt shows a confident, smirking painter mid-performance, holding a brush aloft and a painter’s palette in the other hand—ideal visual storytelling for taverns, courts, festivals, or a bustling town square encounter.
Designed in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, this figure stays true to Vae Victus' original artistic intent, showcasing every detail from his ornate doublet to the splatters of paint on his outfit. Ideal for D&D campaigns or fantasy tabletop games where you need a touch of humour, this painter is sure to add an eccentric twist. Whether as an NPC artist causing a stir or a quirky addition to your party, he’s guaranteed to paint the scene in a whole new light.
Printed as a high-detail resin miniature (or available among our resin miniatures selection), it’s a great choice for hobby painting, roleplay-driven encounters, and characterful diorama displays.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male — so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Showpiece scale — built for shelf display, busts, and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing, and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked

We dispatch orders 5 days a week, due to our on-demand nature bigger orders can take longer to print and pass quality assurance. Our average dispatch time is 4 days with out longest 20 days for very large orders. You can contact us at anytime to check on the status of your order and any holdups. We can usually part dispatch any UK order is taking longer than usual, just ask!
NO!All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured to offer you a clean and perfect base to prime and paint from. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
We print to order, so 3–5 working days on average but at busy times i can take a little longer for the UK and 7–14 for everywhere else.
Our Miniatures are made from Light reactive Resin, it's all very cutting edge science or witch craft we arn't too sure.
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages during shipping. Occasionally, thin parts like swords, staffs, or gun barrels may arrive slightly bent—this is normal and easy to fix.
Recommended method – Warm water:
Dip the bent part into a bowl of lukewarm water for about 1 second, then gently hold the miniature so the part points straight down. If needed, repeat the process, adding an extra second or two. Once the resin cools, the new position will be locked in.
Other methods:
A hair dryer can work, but we don’t recommend it as heating the whole miniature may soften details or cause unwanted bends.
A radiator can also work, but use extreme care—too much heat can damage the resin.
If you’re unsure or need help, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
