We wanted to give you a quick update on recent changes to import rules that may affect shipments from the UK to the United States.
As you may know, the UK doesn’t charge export taxes. However, any customs duties or import tariffs are applied by the destination country—in this case, the U.S.—and these are typically paid by the person receiving the goods.
To keep things simple, we’ve now added a 10% duty charge to all US orders at checkout.
This amount is paid directly to the U.S. government as part of the import process, so your parcel should clear customs more smoothly and with fewer delays.
However, here’s how we’re supporting you as a valued customer:
To support our US friends (because it’s not your fault this happened), we’re providing store credit to the value of the duties paid once your order ships.
To benefit from this, just reach out to our lovely Sarah in Customer Services — she’ll apply the credit to your account quickly and without any fuss.
We love all our US customers and want you and your friends to feel confident ordering from us, just like before.
There may be short-term delays as the international postal system and U.S. Border Control adjust to this new way of working. The world has had just over 30 days to adapt, and things are still settling into place.
We're closely monitoring the situation and will continue to keep you informed. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, we’re here and happy to help.
Thanks again for being part of the We Print Miniatures community — and happy painting!
Warm wishes,
The We Print Miniatures Team
