The Counsellor Fantasy Miniature Calm Advisor NPC Human
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. If you're looking for a sympathetic ear to reassure you that the mayhem you've caused is completely justified, look no further than The Counsellor Fantasy Miniature by Cast n Play from We Print Miniatures. Always ready to offer support, this character won't judge your world-ending decisions - in fact, they might just give you a gentle nod of approval, perfect for games of Dungeons and Dragons. After all, you’re the one wielding the weapon, and whatever you choose to unleash is probably fine in their book!
Based on the image, The Counsellor is a calm, robed human figure with a composed stance and hands clasped as if offering thoughtful guidance—ideal as a serene advisor, court counsellor, monastery elder, or morally-flexible quest giver NPC. The flowing robes and subtle facial expression make this a great painting project for cloth highlights, shading, and weathering, while the neutral, non-combat pose helps it fit almost any fantasy faction, town scene, or roleplay-heavy encounter.
Provided in in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, and faithfully designed without alteration by Cast n Play, The Counsellor is a perfect addition to your D&D or fantasy tabletop collection. Whether you're painting this figure for fun or adding it to your next campaign as a trusted advisor, this miniature brings a touch of lighthearted humour and moral flexibility. Add it to your collection, and let this calm and reassuring character keep you on track - even if that track leads to chaos!
Printed as a resin miniature (high-detail tabletop quality). This model also pairs well with parties who need non-player characters, town council scenes, and narrative-driven campaigns featuring resin miniatures for roleplay and storytelling.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
