Sir Aglovale Miniature Armored Shielded Knight Paladin
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin.
Best foot forward for the Sir Aglovale Miniature by Haito from We Print Miniatures. Steadfast and ready for battle, this fantasy miniature is equipped with a formidable bladed staff and a broad, sturdy shield, offering both offence and defence in equal measure. With a stance that exudes commitment and courage, Sir Aglovale is the kind of character who stands his ground, ready to hold the line and defend his allies at any cost. Perfect for players who favour loyal protectors and strategic positioning in fantasy tabletop games.
This model fits seamlessly into campaigns where bravery and discipline take centre stage, whether you're deep into a Dungeons & Dragons quest or leading a warband through a skirmish scenario. Based faithfully on Haito’s original design, Sir Aglovale is available in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm, 55mm, and 75mm scales. A versatile and dependable addition to any miniature collection or gaming roster.
Sir Aglovale reads clearly as a heavily armored knight or paladin: a full helm, ornate plate armor, and a flowing cloak lend a commanding “frontline defender” silhouette. The tall bladed staff/polearm pairs perfectly with the raised shield for a classic tank or bodyguard role—ideal for holding choke points, protecting casters, or anchoring a battle line in RPG and skirmish encounters.
Printed as a resin miniature (and available as resin miniatures across multiple scales), this figure is a strong choice for hobbyists who enjoy crisp armor detail, dramatic cape folds, and shield iconography. Use it as a human champion, sworn guardian, temple knight, or disciplined soldier in your next fantasy adventure, painting project, or display lineup.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
