Pengu Pirate B Penguin Pet Miniature Swashbuckling Companion
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. Uh-oh! Pengu Pirate B Penguin Pet Miniature by Cast n Play from We Print Miniatures has just had a brilliant idea - and that spells trouble for your enemies! This mischievous pirate penguin, perfect for games of Dungeons and Dragons, is the kind of companion you’ll want by your side, as anyone who dares to cross Pengu usually ends up walking the plank, sent splashing into the ocean courtesy of a well-timed nudge from its massive bottom. Cunning and full of personality, this little pirate is always scheming, and it never ends well for its foes.
In the sculpt, Pengu Pirate B stands upright with a smug, confident expression and classic pirate gear: a sash, buttoned vest, and a strapped satchel/pouch at the hip—ideal details for painters who love cloth folds and characterful faces. The pose reads like a cheeky swashbuckler ready for shipboard mischief, making it a great penguin companion for nautical adventures, Spelljammer-style campaigns, or any fantasy crew.
Available in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, this miniature perfectly captures the playful menace of Pengu Pirate B, as originally designed by Cast n Play. Whether you’re looking for a cheeky pet companion for your D&D campaign or a fun painting project, Pengu Pirate B is a fantastic addition to any collection. Just don’t get on its bad side, or you might find yourself swimming with the fishes!
This is a high-detail resin miniature (resin miniatures may require washing and light prep before priming) ideal for tabletop RPGs, display painting, and companion creature encounters.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male — so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Showpiece scale — built for shelf display, busts, and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing, and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matte surface ready to paint.
