Nina Torres 02 Miniature Sci-Fi Female Soldier
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. Spotting an opportunity to impress the troop commander, Nina Torres 02 Miniature by Unit9 from We Print Miniatures is quick to act as she spots the enemy in the distance. She’s urgently trying to rally her fellow soldiers, but they’re too busy snacking and swapping stories of past victories to pay attention. Perfect for players who enjoy characters with initiative and drive, Nina brings a sense of urgency and determination to any sci-fi skirmish, making her an excellent choice for dynamic battlefield scenarios.
Designed in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, this sci-fi miniature integrates seamlessly into games like Starfinder, providing a proactive and energetic presence for your campaigns. The detailed sculpt captures Nina’s alert stance, complete with expressive gestures as she attempts to get her squad’s attention—ideal for painters who enjoy bringing character-driven miniatures to life. Nina reads as a modern/future infantry leader or spotter: a wide, braced stance, both arms extended in a commanding point-and-direct pose, wearing sci-fi body armor with tactical pouches, knee pads, and rugged boots—great visual storytelling for a battlefield coordinator, squad leader, or forward observer.
Faithful to Unit9’s original concept, this figure remains unaltered, ensuring you receive a high-quality and authentic addition to your collection. Add Nina Torres 02 to your game and see if she can turn the tide, even when her team is distracted. This resin miniature is a strong fit for tabletop RPGs, skirmish games, and display painting, and pairs well with sci-fi troops, cyberpunk forces, and near-future military squads. If you’re building a roster of characterful resin miniatures, Nina delivers a dynamic commander vibe and a clear narrative pose for the tabletop.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
