Black Knight Axe Miniature Armored Poleaxe Warrior
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin.
An axe that has seen many campaigns, the Black Knight Axe Miniature by Haito from We Print Miniatures carries the weight of countless battles in every swing. Brandishing their prized weapon with pride, this fearsome figure stands poised to deliver devastating blows. The axe itself, sharpened to a lethal edge, gleams with a menacing sheen, its condition speaking volumes about the care and experience behind it. With a stance that radiates confidence and controlled fury, this fantasy miniature brings strength and stoicism to your tabletop.
Perfect for Dungeons & Dragons sessions where heavy hitters take centre stage, the Black Knight Axe makes an ideal champion or mercenary in your party. The model's intricate armour, powerful pose, and signature weapon offer painters a great opportunity to explore metallic finishes, wear-and-tear effects, and character expression through detailing.
As shown, this heavily armoured knight miniature is posed mid-advance with a long-shafted poleaxe/halberd-style weapon featuring ornate blades and skull detailing. A hooded helm and layered plate armour with rivets and sharp pauldrons give it a grimdark, blackguard vibe, while the raised foot on a rocky base adds dynamic motion and a commanding battlefield presence.
True to Haito’s original design, this model is available in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm, 55mm, and 75mm scales, perfect for fantasy miniature collections and tabletop campaigns alike.
Printed as a high-detail resin miniature, this is an excellent choice for collectors and painters who want crisp edges, deep recesses, and clean surface detail. Add it to your party as a ruthless enforcer, dark knight champion, or elite guard—these resin miniatures also make standout display pieces for fantasy and RPG dioramas.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
