Afam Helmet Guarding Miniature Sci-fi Armored Sentinel Character
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. It’s hard to tell who’s lurking under that elaborate headgear, but one thing’s for sure - the Afam Helmet Guarding Miniature by Papsikels from We Print Miniatures is here to make an impression. With intricate armour detail and a menacing stance, this miniature is perfect for adding a mysterious and intimidating figure to your Sci-fi tabletop games. Whether leading troops into battle or standing guard, this imposing character commands attention and looks fantastic when fully painted and displayed.
As shown in the model, Afam features an ornate, cobra-like helmet and layered, high-tech/ancient-futurist plating with a strong “sentinel” posture: clenched fists, squared shoulders, and a ready-to-hold-the-line presence. The detailed chest armour, bracers, and greaves provide plenty of texture for painters—ideal for metallics, hazard glows, weathering, or faction markings for gangs, wasteland crews, or future-war patrols.
Provided in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, this miniature captures every element of Papsikels' original design without any modifications. Ideal for games like Starfinder, the Afam Helmet Guarding Miniature fits seamlessly into any Sci-fi collection, bringing both style and strength to your lineup.
This resin miniature is a great choice for sci-fi skirmishes, RPG encounters, or display painting. Add this to your collection of resin miniatures when you need a mysterious guard, elite trooper, or intimidating ganger to command attention on the tabletop.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
