Adopted Sister Death Chest Bursted Miniature Sci-Fi Diorama
About this miniature
Made from high-quality resin. Administering first aid, or it could the the last rites, Adopted Sister Death Chest Bursted Miniature is offering some sibling love to a casualty of the game board. Crafted in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm and 55mm scales, Adopted Sister Death Chest Bursted Miniature is a true-to-design piece by Papsikels, offering no alterations to the original vision. Perfect for sci-fi tabletop games like Starfinder, this miniature brings a powerful presence to the game board. There's a lot to paint in this model with two figures so it's ideal for those who enjoy bringing story-rich characters to life. Whether used as a key figure in your campaign or a symbolic centrepiece, this miniature delivers emotional impact and keeps your opponents on edge.
As shown in the image, the scene reads as a dramatic two-figure diorama: a female operative/medic kneels behind a slumped, wounded casualty, gripping the upper torso as if stabilizing them for emergency aid or delivering final rites. The casualty’s head tilts back and one hand rests limply on the ground, making this a strong objective marker, narrative encounter piece, or aftermath vignette for cyberpunk and science-fiction battlefields, wasteland skirmishes, and campaign storytelling.
This is a resin miniature (also available as resin miniatures across common tabletop scales) designed for hobby assembly and painting, with lots of fabric folds, faces, and gear details that reward careful shading and weathering. Use it as a scenario objective, a grim battlefield rescue, or a memorable roleplay moment that instantly signals stakes and tension on the table.

How we size our miniatures
We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male, so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.
The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.
Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.
When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop
Built for shelf display, busts and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing and competition-grade detail.

Questions we get asked
A LOT
We dispatch orders five days a week. Everything is printed to order, so bigger orders take longer to print and pass quality checks. Our average dispatch time is 4 days, and very large orders can take up to 20 days. You can contact us at any time to check on your order. If a UK order is taking longer than usual, we can usually send part of it first: just ask!
No! All our miniatures are dispatched washed and cured, so they arrive as a clean base to prime and paint. No waiting, just miniatures ready to use.
Most orders are dispatched within 4 days. Royal Mail usually delivers in 2 to 3 days in the UK and 7 to 16 days to the rest of the world. Busy periods and Christmas can add a few days.
Our miniatures are made from light-reactive resin. It's all very cutting-edge science (or witchcraft, we aren't too sure).
Our resin is designed to flex rather than snap, which helps prevent breakages in the post. Now and then a thin part like a sword, staff or gun barrel arrives slightly bent. This is normal and easy to fix.
Warm water: dip the bent part in water at 40 to 50°C for 10 seconds, then hang the miniature upside down with the part pointing at the floor so gravity straightens it. Let it cool fully before you turn it upright. Still bent? Dip it again for 20 seconds; thicker parts take a little longer.
Never use a radiator, microwave or oven. If you're unsure, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

A slight sheen on some areas is completely normal for cured resin and does not affect the model. It can show where supports were removed or where the surface cured a little differently during printing.
If you'd like a uniform finish, a quick scuff with fine sandpaper followed by your usual primer gives an even, matt surface ready to paint.
