How We Size Our Miniatures

All our miniatures are measured from the base of the foot to the eyes. This is the industry standard, based on the idea that an average human male stands 6ft tall, upright, with at least one foot planted on the ground.

Because of this, females, aliens, halflings, and other characters may have different proportions when compared to a 6ft human male. After all, no one wants a halfling towering at 6ft tall—it’d eat us out of house and home!

If a miniature is posed with bent legs, a wide stance, or is kneeling, we adjust the measurement so the proportions remain correct relative to a standing 6ft human male. This ensures consistency across your collection.

IMPORTANT — CHOOSING YOUR SIZE

It is your responsibility to check that the size you select is right for your collection before ordering. We offer miniatures in 28mm, 32mm, 35mm, 55mm and 75mm.

Please don't assume a size from the game you play. Warhammer has not been a single 28mm standard for over twenty years, and ranges sold as “Heroscale” or “Historic 28mm” are routinely 30mm measured foot to eye. If you are matching an existing collection, measure one of your own miniatures from the base of the foot to the eyes and order to that number — we have compared over 2,000 miniatures against the leading ranges to help you do exactly that.

Our miniatures are printed to order. If you choose a size and then decide it wasn't the one you wanted, the miniature is not faulty and we are not at fault — but you can still return it to us under our Refund Policy, at your cost, for a refund.
