How Warcraft commissions work

Ask Us To Print Your Warcraft Rumble STL

Blizzard gives the Warcraft Rumble mini blueprints away, free, on their own site. If you have a resin printer, go and get them. If you do not, this page is the shortcut: pick a mini, size it, and we will print it for you in our UK studio.

Why us for these particular files

We printed thousands of these Warcraft Rumble blueprints for a promotional run with Activision, and where files were not printable we told them what needed fixing. That is unusual history with a specific set of models, and it is why we offer them as commissions rather than as another upload.

You are not buying a file here. The blueprints are free from Blizzard and they stay free. You are commissioning the print: our resin, our machine time, our supports, and a person checking it before it goes on the plate.

  • We have printed these files before — thousands of them

When Blizzard released the Warcraft Rumble blueprints we ran them in volume for a promotional print, and fed printability fixes back to Activision on the files that needed them. We are not meeting these models for the first time.

  • You pick from a gallery, not a folder

Every mini Blizzard has published, grouped by faction, with the ones we can print marked as such. Choose one and it loads straight into the studio — there is no file for you to find, download or unzip.

  • It scales the way miniatures are actually scaled

Two clicks, foot to eye. That is the measurement the hobby uses, so a 32mm from us stands next to a 32mm from anywhere else without an argument.

  • It supports the model with the engine we use ourselves

Orientation and supports are not left to you. The same support engine that preps the models in our catalogue runs on your commission, and shows you exactly what it added before you commit.

  • It prices from the print, not from a guess

The quote is built from the size you asked for, the resin that size will drink, and the share of printer time the job occupies. The breakdown is there to read before anything reaches your basket.

  • Then we print it properly

Your commission joins the same production queue as everything else we make. A person checks it before it reaches a printer, and it ships washed and cured, ready to prime.

How to use it

  1. Pick your mini

Filter by faction or search by name. Some models come two ways — with the scenic base Blizzard designed, or the figure on its own.

  2. Wait for it to load

These are big files, between 90 and 110 MB, and your browser downloads the whole thing so it can work on it. On Wi-Fi that is a moment; on mobile data give it a few minutes.

  3. Stand it up

Get it feet down and facing front. The tool walks you round it, from the front and from underneath, so the orientation is confirmed before anything is measured.

  4. Click the foot, then the eye

Two clicks. That establishes the true foot to eye height of the model, which everything else is measured against.

  5. Choose a size in millimetres

28mm, 32mm, 75mm, or any number you like. The model is scaled so its foot to eye height matches what you asked for.

  6. Let it orient and support

This runs on your machine and takes a couple of minutes on a detailed model. Hide the supports and inspect the result before you go on.

  7. Get your price and add it to your basket

The quote appears with its breakdown. From there it is an ordinary order.

Questions people ask

Are these files official?

Yes. Blizzard publishes the Warcraft Rumble mini blueprints themselves, free to download, on the official Warcraft Rumble site. They are released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 licence. We link to the publisher's own download page from every model in the gallery.

Can I just print these myself?

Absolutely, and if you have a resin printer you should — the files are free and they are good. This service is for people who want one without owning a printer, a wash station, a curing lamp and an afternoon.

What am I actually paying for?

The printing. You are commissioning us to produce a physical copy of a file the publisher has released for free: our resin, our machine time, our supports, and a person checking it before and after it prints. We do not sell the files and we never will.

What size should I choose?

Whatever your table already uses. 28mm and 32mm cover most tabletop roleplaying and skirmish gaming. 75mm and up is display territory, where the height buys you detail you can actually see across a shelf. We measure foot to eye, so shorter characters come out shorter than the number, which is correct.

Why is the download so large?

Because these are detailed sculpts — around two million triangles each — and your browser needs the real mesh to orient, scale and support it accurately rather than showing you a preview and hoping. Wi-Fi is a much happier experience than mobile data here.

Why can I not find a particular mini?

We only list models we have checked and can print reliably at the sizes we offer. If one you want is missing, get in touch and we will look at it.

What does it arrive like?

Printed in the same resin as everything in our catalogue, washed and cured before it leaves us, so it reaches you clean and ready to prime. Unpainted, on whatever base the file includes.

How long does it take?

It is printed to order in our UK studio, so nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting for you. Your commission joins the production queue, gets checked by a person, then printed, washed and cured before it ships. Current timings for everything we make are on our FAQ page.

Can I change my mind after ordering?

A commission is made for you alone, so it sits outside our Love Us Guarantee and is exempt from distance selling regulations. If the print itself arrives wrong or damaged, that is on us and we will put it right.

Does it work on a phone?

It runs anywhere with WebGL2, which covers every current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. These are heavy models though, so a laptop or desktop will cope far more comfortably — and will not spend your mobile data downloading 100 MB.
