THE MINIATURES

Two miniatures, one duellist's heart.

Choose your Elaine. Or let's be honest choose both. Each sculpt is printed on demand in our premium light-reactive resin using our highest quality Artist Proof 0.03nm proccess, pre-washed and pre-cured so all you need is your primer, your paints, and a steady hand.

Elaine Blackvale — the Musketeer

Elaine Blackvale — the Musketeer

Plumed hat. Rapier drawn. Trouble incoming.

Elaine in her duellist's silks — broad-brimmed hat, weighted cloak, and the lazy half-smile that says she's already won. A pose with movement, attitude, and an absolute joy of capes to paint.

Elaine Blackvale — the Warrior

Elaine Blackvale — the Warrior

Plate scarred. Greatsword grounded. No mercy left.

The same woman, the same fire — but ten years and three campaigns wiser. Heavier armour, a notched blade, and a battle-stance built for a centrepiece on any shelf or skirmish board.

How we size our miniatures

We measure every mini from foot to eyeline, assuming a 6 ft male — so the millimetre is the eyeline, not the top of the helmet. Females, monsters, and smaller folk scale up or down so they don't look silly standing next to a standard human.

Compare our miniatures against leading games
28mmClassic

The standard for games like D&D and many roleplay games as well as older versions of Grimdark Battlefields.

Shop Classic
32mmModern

Many games use this size as it provides more detail for painting and to fit with modern game systems like Grimdark Wargames and skirmish games. Also used for 28mm Monsters to give them even more threat.

Shop Modern
35mmBeefy Bob

When you need a bit more threat a 35mm mini in a 32 or 28mm game can add real weight to an encounter. Great for painting to maximise detail for the tabletop

Shop Beefy Bob
55mm & 75mmDisplay & Bust

Showpiece scale — built for shelf display, busts, and showcase paint jobs. Maximum surface area for blending, framing, and competition-grade detail.

How to Enter

Your Paint Brush Is Calling

There's no fee to enter beyond the cost of the miniature. You have until entries close on the 15th of July to upload your photos to the competition page.

01

Get the mini

Order either Elaine the Musketeer or the Warrior or grab both in the bundle. Pick your scale: 28mm tabletop or 32mm display.

02

Paint your heart out

Take your time. Use any paint, any technique, any base. Diorama? Encouraged. Mountain of effort? Even better.

03

Snap & submit

Upload three clear photos via the entry form ideally showing the front and back of the mini and your favourite angle. One entry per miniature. Bundle = two entries.

04

Wait for the verdict

Peachy and the WPM crew will judge the winners by secret vote. Peachy has the casting vote in the event of a tie or disagreements resulting in a table flip.

Frequently asked things

The honest, no-quibble FAQ.

Do I have to buy a miniature to enter?

Yes — but that's the entire spirit of the thing. We're not running a paint-a-mini-you-already-own contest; the whole drop is Elaine. One purchased mini = one entry. The Collector's Bundle = two entries, one per sculpt.

Can I enter both the Musketeer and the Warrior?

Absolutely. Each miniature you paint counts as a separate entry. You can win in multiple categories — but only one top-three spot.

What's the deadline?

Entries close 15th of July at 23:59 BST. Shortlist announced and winners there after.

Who can enter?

Anyone, anywhere. We ship globally and accept entries from anywhere on the planet. Painters under 16 need a parent/guardian to handle prize delivery.

What scale should I pick?

28mm is the classic tabletop wargame scale fits in with your D&D party or wargame army. 32mm is the heroic display scale, with a touch more detail and presence on a shelf. Pick what feels right for your collection.

Can I 3D print my own copy?

Sure but you can't enter the competition :-) Support a small business buy the mini and have a blast painting it then see what Chris Peach thinks of your handywork.
