mimic-chest-with-tongue-out-miniature-monster
Mimic Chest With Tongue Out Miniature Monster

Something about that chest looks a little too eager to be opened. Two bare, stubby feet, a row of jagged teeth and one cheeky tongue give the game away. This Mimic Chest With Tongue Out Miniature is the sort of ambush encounter that makes a table of adventurers go quiet before someone reaches for the lock.

The sculpt is wonderfully tactile. Every plank of the wooden chest carries its own grain and fine scoring, held together by chunky riveted bands and studs that run around the corners and along the base. A square keyhole plate sits on the lid like a blank, unblinking eye. Beneath it the lid gapes open to reveal rows of sharp, uneven teeth, with a broad, textured tongue lolling down the front of the chest. Below the box, a pair of chunky bare feet complete with individual toes and toenails gives this mimic a gloriously goofy stance. It is menacing and funny in equal measure, and the crisp surfaces will take drybrushing and washes beautifully.

This resin miniature was designed by Tallowmark Miniatures and is 3D printed by us in high-quality resin, then shipped to you as a finished physical model. It comes with a base, and the only assembly required is to superglue the miniature onto its included base. Scales available are 28mm, 32mm, 35mm, 55mm and 75mm. Think warm aged oak, tarnished iron and a bright pink tongue, whether it ends up as a dungeon trap or a display piece. Add it to your next dungeon crawl and let your players learn the hard way.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0475/9938/6776/files/product-Mimic_Chest_With_Tongue_Out_Miniature_Product_Render-1792308725443.png?v=1792309358
